Mission & Heritage
Privateer Security Forces
In the age of sail, the world moved on sea lanes the way it moves on highways and networks now. Cargo, coin, information, and lives traveled through contested space. Threats didn’t wait for convenience. Help didn’t arrive on schedule.
Defined authority. Disciplined execution. Proof.
That gap created the privateer.
A privateer was not a pirate. A pirate answered to appetite. A privateer answered to a commission - a letter of marque - issued under authority, bound by rules, and judged by what could be proven. Captains kept logs. Crews kept discipline. Actions were audited in court. Authority had limits. Results had receipts.
That is the tradition we chose to inherit.
Privateer Security Forces exists to run modern security operations with that same standard: defined authority, disciplined execution, and documentation that survives scrutiny.
Every client hires security for the same reason: they want control back.
Control of their property. Control of their risk. Control of what happens when something goes wrong.
We treat every contract like a commission. The mission is defined. The boundaries are known. Expectations are written. Post orders are not “suggestions.” They are operational doctrine.
Our work is measured by outcomes and proof:
- fewer preventable incidents
- faster resolution when incidents occur
- cleaner follow-through
- clearer accountability
Discipline Over Theater
A uniform alone is theater. A patrol car alone is theater. A badge-shaped piece of metal does not create competence.
We operate with a unit mindset:
- command structure that supports supervision and consistency
- communications discipline
- readiness standards
- ongoing training
- professional presence
- controlled interaction under stress
This is not a hobby. This is an operational craft.
Full Sail™
The old privateers kept a ship’s log because memory doesn’t hold up in a dispute.
We built Full Sail™ for the same reason.
Full Sail is our proprietary operations platform. It connects what happens in the field to what clients can verify afterward. It is designed for visibility, documentation, and control - not vague “check-in dots” and hopeful summaries.
Full Sail includes:
- field tools that support patrol execution and operational logging
- a secure web portal for reporting, visibility, and administrative workflows
- a cloud system of record hosted in Microsoft Azure (U.S.-based regions), delivered with modern reliability and performance practices
This is how the mission stays accountable when nobody is watching.
Who Sees What
Privateer operations generate sensitive information. Access must be earned and controlled.
Full Sail is role-based:
- Company Admins (Privateer): platform administration, oversight, security controls, support
- Company Employees (Privateer): operational execution, reporting, and field workflows
- Clients: highest level of visibility and administrative control for their sites (as enabled)
- Client Users: delegated visibility for the client’s team without full administrative control
- Tenants: limited community tools and limited visibility when enabled by the Client
This isn’t “mystery security.” It’s structured access built for real environments.
When clients ask, the answer should be a record
Privateering was accountability under pressure. Your crew survived by being right, being disciplined, and proving your work.
We apply that standard to modern incident handling:
- operational records that are reviewable
- reports designed for clarity and follow-through
- evidence workflows appropriate to the environment and assignment
- audit trails that support oversight, training, and quality control
When clients ask, “What happened last night?” the answer should not be an argument. It should be a record.
Training & Readiness
A ship doesn’t sail because the crew feels brave. It sails because the crew is trained.
Privateer training is built to produce consistency in the field:
- communication and presence that defuses problems early
- lawful decision-making under stress
- proper documentation
- controlled escalation decisions
- competent use of operational technology
The goal is reliability. The goal is performance that holds when conditions are ugly and time is short.
Stay inside the mandate
Privateers operated under commission. Their legitimacy came from defined authority and adherence to it.
Our authority comes from private contract, defined post orders, and the law. We are private security professionals. We do not claim public police powers or present ourselves as a public law-enforcement agency. When circumstances require escalation beyond a private mission, we coordinate with law enforcement and emergency services.
That line matters - because discipline means staying inside your mandate.
The Flag
Our symbols exist for one reason: to remind the team what standard we claim, and what standard we will be held to.
A pirate’s flag meant “no rules.”
A privateer’s standard meant something else: there are rules, we have authority, and we will be accountable for every action.
Work With Privateer
If you want security that looks good on an invoice and disappears when pressure shows up, you’ll find that everywhere. If you want an operation built on commission, discipline, and receipts - we should talk.
