Become a Privateer: Embrace the Extraordinary
Being a Privateer is not just a career - it's a lifestyle. It's an unparalleled experience that combines the roles of a security guard, private military contractor, law enforcement officer, firefighter, and paramedic. Privateers undergo rigorous training to respond to a wide range of stimuli, from critical emergencies to everyday customer interactions.
Being a Privateer requires courage, grit, determination, and an unbreakable work ethic. Privateers are committed not only to our organization but also to themselves, constantly striving to be the best version of themselves. At PSF, we support our Privateers by providing state-of-the-art training facilities. Our high-tech training academy is equipped with multiple firearms simulators, a hand-to-hand combat area, a physical training zone, a classroom, a medical training and simulation area, and an urban training area. Our goal is to keep our Privateers immersed in continuous training, building their skills and personal growth.
The Training: Elevating Excellence
Privateer Academy stands as one of the world's most advanced security academies, and for good reason. We have made substantial investments in cutting-edge firearms and non-lethal simulators, medical training devices, and state-of-the-art training materials. Our team of seasoned instructors, all NRA certified, ensures the highest standards of training. Our comprehensive 40-hour academy surpasses the state minimum requirement of 8 hours, providing candidates with an exceptional foundation.
The first 40 hours of our unique academy focus on a diverse range of training. Candidates engage in light physical training, immersive classroom sessions covering law and theory, hands-on experiences in our high-tech simulators, intense combat gym sessions, and field training alongside our experienced instructors. The curriculum encompasses esoteric skills such as security patrol and man tracking, equipping Privateers with invaluable expertise.
The following 40 hours are primarily dedicated to firearms training. Privateers master pistol, rifle, and shotgun platforms, earning NRA certifications in all three disciplines. Our comprehensive curriculum delves into use of force law, complex scenario simulations, de-escalation techniques, active shooter response, hostage situations, bomb threats, domestic disputes, and more. Live fire range sessions further refine their skills, marking the beginning of an ongoing, career-long commitment to firearms proficiency.
As a Privateer, you can expect highly competitive compensation comparable to that of law enforcement, surpassing industry averages within the security sector. We provide top-of-the-line, high-tech equipment typically reserved for law enforcement and elite military units. At Privateer Security Forces (PSF), we foster an environment of elite security professionals, demanding the highest level of performance from our dedicated team. Becoming a Privateer is challenging, and maintaining the title requires constant self-discipline.
